Cindy and Jason’s Wildflower Wedding at Bridgewater Estate | Auckland

Some love stories start with sparks, others with laughter. For Cindy and Jason, it began with lines of code. Jason was writing, Cindy was testing, and somewhere between fixing bugs and solving problems, a quiet connection grew. They didn’t start dating until Cindy moved teams and began coding herself — but once they did, there was no looking back.

Since then, they’ve spent almost every day together, working, living, and growing side by side. Even after years of being inseparable, they never tired of each other — a sure sign they were ready for forever. So on the exact day marking seven years since they first met, Cindy and Jason chose to celebrate their wedding surrounded by family, friends, and love.

A Romantic Forest-Inspired Celebration

Their wedding was held at Bridgewater Estate, a lush and serene venue that perfectly complemented their wildflower and forest-inspired styling. The atmosphere felt both whimsical and elegant, with florals and greenery setting a natural, romantic backdrop for the day.

The morning began at Bridgewater Estate itself, where Cindy and her bridal party got ready. Excitement filled the air as final touches were made before the formal ceremony. To honour tradition, the couple also incorporated a small and intimate tea ceremony — a meaningful nod to family and heritage woven seamlessly into their day.

Memories in the Making

When asked about their favourite memory together, Cindy and Jason recalled eating cup noodles under the stars on a cloudy night — simple, heartfelt, and full of joy. Their wedding carried the same spirit: proof that the most beautiful moments are often the ones shared quietly, with the people you love most.

As they exchanged vows in front of friends and family, the celebration felt not just like a wedding, but a reflection of their story — one built on teamwork, laughter, and love that only grows stronger with time.

Capturing the Details

As their wedding photographer in Auckland, I had the privilege of documenting every part of Cindy and Jason’s day at Bridgewater Estate. From the intimate tea ceremony to the laughter during speeches, and from the wildflower details to the emotional vows, each frame told a piece of their story.

Cindy and Jason’s wedding is a reminder that love doesn’t have to be dramatic to be extraordinary — it’s in the everyday moments, the teamwork, and the laughter that keeps two people connected. It’s celebrations like theirs that inspire me as a wedding photographer in New Zealand, where every couple brings their own story to life in a way that is both beautiful and unique.
