What’s your photographic style?

My style is documentary and candid — focused on capturing natural, raw emotions as they unfold. I aim to tell the authentic story of your day through timeless, heartfelt imagery.

How do you approach editing and retouching?

I create a timeless, classic look with slightly warmer tones. All photos are professionally edited with colour correction, lighting adjustments, and fine-tuning details. I don’t do heavy Photoshop (such as slimming or altering appearances), as I believe everyone has their own natural beauty.

Should we have an unplugged ceremony?

That’s completely up to you! An unplugged ceremony helps guests stay present in the moment, but I’ll work comfortably with either choice.

How many wedding photos will we receive?

You’ll receive the best images from your day — usually between 300–600 photos, depending on the coverage you choose.

When will we get our photos?

You’ll receive a handful of sneak peeks within 3 days of your wedding, so you can share them with friends and family right away. Your full online gallery will be ready within 4–6 weeks. (The industry standard is 6–8 weeks, but I always aim to deliver sooner.)

How do we receive our photos?

All photos are delivered via a private online gallery, where you can download high-resolution images and share them easily with family and friends.

Do you offer albums or prints?

  • For prints, I recommend Photo Print, a trusted local print shop. You can order through me or directly from them.

  • For albums, I recommend MILK Books, known for their beautiful, high-quality wedding albums.

Are you the only photographer?

Yes — most of the images on my website were photographed by me alone. For larger weddings, I recommend adding a second shooter to ensure full coverage of your day.

How do you cover both the bride and groom getting ready?

If I’m shooting solo, I usually spend about an hour with the groom first before joining the bride. If the locations are more than 30 minutes apart, I recommend booking a second shooter.

Do we need to provide you with a meal?

For weddings over 5 hours of coverage, a main meal for me (and a second shooter, if included) is very much appreciated. No entrée or dessert is necessary.

Do you charge a travel fee outside of Auckland?

Yes, though I always keep costs as minimal as possible. I’m more than happy to travel anywhere in New Zealand.

Can we meet before booking?

Absolutely! I’d love to chat and hear more about your plans. We can meet in person or over a video call.

Can you pencil us in?

Unfortunately, I can’t hold dates without a booking. To secure your wedding date, I require a signed contract and a 25% deposit.

What happens if you can’t shoot our wedding?

In the rare event of serious illness or emergency, I’ll arrange a photographer with a similar style to cover your wedding, or refund your booking in full.

How do we book you?

It’s simple — a signed contract and a 25% deposit are all you need to secure your date.

Send me a message, I would love to get to know you.
