What’s your photographic style?
My photographic style is documentary and candid. My mission is to capture the natural and raw emotion of people.
Whats’s your style concerning retouching?
I try to create a timeless, classic look with slightly warmer tones.
When you mentioned all the photos will be edited? Does that include photoshop off my blemishes on the face and making me look slimmer?
I edit images with colour correction, adjust brightness and shadows for example. How I shoot and edit create flattering images naturally. I believe that everyone has natural beauty so I don’t alter the way you look.
Should we have an unplugged wedding during the ceremony?
This is completely up to you! It’s not an issue for me, with whatever you decide. With an unplugged wedding, I find that guests can really be there in the moment with you.
How many wedding photos will I receive?
You will receive the best photos of your wedding day. Usually around 300-600 images depending on coverage type that you choose.
When will we get the photos after a wedding?
The industry standard is between 6-12 weeks, I aim to finish images within 4-6 weeks after your wedding date.
How do I received my photos?
You receive all the photos via an online gallery, where you can download and share images with your family and friends. All the images are high-resolution and ready to use for printing.
Can we order wedding albums and print photos from you?
At this stage, I don’t offer prints and albums. However, I am in the midst of organising this, and these options will be available in the future.
Are you the only photographer?
Yes. The majority of the images you see on my website are when I was shooting by myself. If you’re planning on holding a larger wedding, I would recommend a second shooter.
How do you cover the getting ready photos of both bride and groom’s side, if you shooting alone?
I usually visit the boys for an hour, before visiting the girls. However, if the locations are more than half an hour apart, I would suggest having a second shooter to cover one side.
Do we have to feed you ?
If the wedding shooting is over 5 hours, myself (and a possible second shooter) would really appreciate a main meal to help us refuel. There’s no need for an entree or dessert!
What’s your travel fee if outside of Auckland?
I am more than happy to travel outside of Auckland, and will try keep costs minimal.
Can we meet before booking ?
Absolutely! I would love to get to know you, and hear more about your wedding planning. It’s also a great opportunity to ask me any questions.
Can you pencil me in ?
Unfortunately, as dates are limited, I cannot afford to reserve a date for you with a pencilled booking.
What happen if you can’t shoot my wedding?
In the event of catastrophic illness or injury that I cannot shoot your wedding I will substitute a photographer of comparable style and talent or refund your fee.
What happen with Covid-19 and your Wedding?
If you are planning to postpone your wedding due to Covid-19, the deposit and any fee that you have made would be transferred to a new date. In the case that I am not able to shoot your wedding, I will substitute a photographer of comparable style and talent or refund your fee.
How do we book you?
A signed contact and a 25% deposit is all you need to secure your wedding date.
