Joice and Alvin’s love story is one of patience, timing, and finding each other again after years apart. They first met while studying at Cornell Business in Technology here in New Zealand, where Joice secretly had a big crush on Alvin. Unsure if he felt the same, life eventually pulled them in different directions after Alvin finished his studies.
Fast forward to 2019, when Alvin sent Joice a message on Facebook Messenger, sparking conversations that quickly rekindled their connection. Within a month, they were dating, and by 2021, Alvin proposed. In 2023, they finally gathered their loved ones to celebrate their wedding at Kumeu Valley Estate, surrounded by rustic charm and timeless beauty.

Their wedding day was everything they dreamed of: simple, rustic, and filled with love. Joice got ready at the cosy Vineyard Cottages in Kumeu, while Alvin prepared nearby at Lavender Hill in Riverhead, setting the stage for a heartfelt day.
The ceremony and reception took place at Kumeu Valley Estate, a venue known for its warm, rustic character and lush, green surroundings. With family and friends gathered close, the atmosphere was relaxed, genuine, and full of joy.
