Drawn in by each other’s sense of humour and bright smiles, their connection grew quickly. Over the years, they built a life together — moving in, buying their first home in 2020, and adopting a dog who became part of the family. The next step came while travelling in a campervan around Nelson, where Tom proposed, setting the stage for the wedding they had been dreaming of.

Their wedding was hosted at Turanga Creek in Whitford, a venue known for its rolling vineyards and warm, rustic charm. Tom and Romaine envisioned their day as a romantic and classic evening, filled with thoughtful, personal details. From the heartfelt ceremony to the elegant reception, every part of the day reflected their love and the life they’ve built together.
The morning began with Romaine preparing at Rydges Formosa Golf Resort in Beachlands, while Tom got ready at Turanga Creek. These two locations set the perfect tone — relaxed but full of anticipation — before everyone gathered at the vineyard for the formal, non-religious ceremony.
