Terrese and Shane’s wedding was a heartfelt and relaxed celebration, held in their own backyard — a day filled with love, laughter, and the joy of being surrounded by family and friends.
Their love story began years earlier when Shane would drop off his son, Mason, at the daycare where Terrese worked. What started as casual encounters slowly grew into something more, and by the end of 2016 they were talking regularly. On New Year’s Day 2017, Shane picked Terrese up after her shift at 1am, and the two spent the night talking. From there, everything fell into place quickly — they moved in together by April, got engaged in March 2018, bought their first home in 2019, and soon welcomed two beautiful children, Brayden in 2019 and Olivia in 2021. Their wedding was the perfect way to finally celebrate their journey together.
A Laid-Back & Joyful Celebration
True to their personalities, Terrese and Shane wanted their wedding to feel laid-back and stress-free, and that’s exactly what it was. The backyard setting was brought to life with pretty lights, great music, delicious food, and plenty of drinks — creating a warm, inviting atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy themselves.
Theme & Styling
The day carried a beach-inspired theme, with navy blue as the main colour, adding a touch of coastal charm to the relaxed vibe. Surrounded by their closest loved ones, the couple embraced every moment — from laughter during the ceremony to joy-filled conversations long into the evening.
Family at the Heart of the Day
One of the most beautiful parts of Terrese and Shane’s wedding was how naturally their children were included in the celebration. Mason, who was there at the very start of their love story, played an important role, while little Brayden and Olivia added warmth and sweetness to the day. Having their kids there wasn’t just special — it was the perfect reminder of how far their family has come, and how much love they already share.
