Their Love Story
Kirsten and David’s journey began in a very modern way—online. What started as a simple connection in April 2016 grew into something much deeper over time. Living on opposite sides of Auckland, their relationship was, in their words, “a slow burn.”
The turning point came when Kirsten moved into David’s home to look after his cat while he was overseas. That month together made it clear how much they truly enjoyed each other’s company. Since then, their life has been filled with laughter, travel adventures, and time with family and friends.
The couple shares a special love for the South Island of New Zealand—especially meaningful as Kirsten is originally from Ashburton. Their trips down south are some of their favourite memories together.
The Wedding Day at Glasshouse Morningside
On 27 April 2021, Kirsten and David celebrated their big day at the Glasshouse Morningside in Auckland. Known for its modern architecture, lush greenery, and stunning natural light, the venue was the perfect fit for their fun and relaxed celebration.
Their wedding day was filled with joy, laughter, and the presence of loved ones. Although some close friends and family couldn’t attend due to COVID travel restrictions, the couple focused on celebrating with those who could be there—and the result was an atmosphere full of warmth and connection.

True to their personalities, the wedding wasn’t about formality—it was about creating a space where everyone could relax, mingle, and simply enjoy the moment. From heartfelt vows to shared laughter, Kirsten and David’s day was the perfect reminder that love is about being present, cherishing what you have, and celebrating together.
